Graduate students in the School of Pharmacy are encouraged to apply for internal and external awards that they are eligible for. Many of our students are successful in their applications for federal and provincial scholarships through Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Program, or the Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology (QEII-GSST) Program.
In addition to the government funded scholarships, our students are eligible for select awards that are specifically for graduate students in the School of Pharmacy, made possible by the generous donations of benefactors including the Christine and David Edwards Graduate Studies Travel Award, the Donald J and Kathleen D McDougall Graduate Scholarship, and the Janet E.A. McDougall Graduate Scholarship.
Information about these and other awards that our students are eligible for are linked below. Students are encouraged to refer to the Graduate funding and awards database to identify other funding opportunities that they may be eligible for.
