Award
The McKesson Foundation offers awards valued at up to $5,000 each, available each term to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in Year Two, Three, or Four of the PharmD program in the School of Pharmacy.
Selection is based on applicants being in good academic standing (minimum 60% cumulative average) and a demonstrated interest in pursuing an experiential learning opportunity (co-op or clinical rotation) in a region of Northern Ontario (all communities located in the North West and North East Ontario Health Regions).
Interested students should submit an application by June 30 (for clinical rotations and Fall co-op applicants); October 15 (for clinical rotations and Winter term co-op applicants); and March 15 (for Spring term co-op applicants) to Awards Committee, School of Pharmacy. This fund is made possible by a grant from the McKesson Foundation to help create a strong pipeline of diverse pharmacists and a foundation for culturally safe practice in northern communities.
