Farewell Rx2026s
On Tuesday, December 2, our Rx2026 students marked a major milestone, their last day of class! We celebrated their accomplishments with a special farewell event before they begin their Patient Care Rotations.
Throughout their time at the School, the Rx2026s completed three co-op work terms, multiple IPFC courses, and a rigorous curriculum that prepared them for the next stage of their journey.
“Our last class event was a memorable moment that brought our cohort together one final time before clinical rotations, allowing us to reflect on how far we’ve come! As I begin rotations, I’ll carry forward the commitment to patient-centred care, sound clinical judgment and effective interprofessional collaboration that the School has instilled in us," says Qamar Mobayed, Rx2026, PAM 2025 chair.
The event was filled with laughter and nostalgia as students reminisced about their experiences, connected with professors and their classmates, and captured new memories with photos.
“It was wonderful celebrating the end of term with Rx2026s! Since their first year in our PharmD program, I’ve had the privilege of watching them learn, grow, and evolve into true professionals," says Dr. Praveen Nekkar. "I share their excitement for what lies ahead as they graduate next year and wish them every success in achieving their career goals! My final advice is to stay curious, keep building connections, and never stop learning throughout your professional journey.”
Congratulations, Rx2026s! We wish you all the best as you embark on your next chapter, your Patient Care Rotations.
