Waterloo Pharmacy hosts Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists Residency Research Night

Waterloo Pharmacy hosted the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists- Ontario Branch (CSHP-OB) West Chapter residency research night in a hybrid setting for the second year.
Residents from across Ontario were invited to present their research projects they worked on over the course of their residency year. This year, 13 residents presented their research findings on a range of topics to advance healthcare practices to 72 in-person attendees.
“It was a pleasure working with the staff at the School and we are very happy that we had such a great turnout,” Victoria Wong says, CSHP West Chapter co-chair and event organizer.
Two Waterloo PharmD alumni took home top awards and an additional alum placed in fourth place.

It was lovely to host the residency research night at the School of Pharmacy for the second year. The residents worked very hard and completed excellent research projects, with very interesting and informative results and conclusions. It was great to see so much support from the pharmacist and student community for their work, both in-person and online.
