The University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy hosted the Canadian Society of Healthcare-Systems Pharmacy - Ontario Branch (CSHP-OB) West Chapter residency research night for the fifth year.
Residents from across Ontario were invited to present their research projects they worked on over the course of their residency year. This year, 15 residents presented their research findings on a range of topics to advance healthcare practices to approximately 70 in-person attendees.
“The CSHP Ontario Branch West Chapter was honoured to partner with the School for this year’s CSHP-OB West Residency Night,” Antea Plesa and Natasha Szabolcs say, CSHP-OB West Chapter co-chairs.
“Residency Night is an important opportunity for pharmacy residents across Western Ontario to showcase their projects and contributions to advancing pharmacy practice. Through presenting their work, residents strengthen their project development and communication skills, gain valuable feedback and celebrate the culmination of a year dedicated to learning and professional growth. It is an inspiring evening where colleagues gather to connect, learn from the outstanding work of the residents and support the growing community of pharmacists in hospital and ambulatory practice settings.”
