Ongoing Indigenous learnings

Celine Huab (PharmD'22) shares her experience during her Waterloo Pharmacy co-op work term in Moose Factory and Moosonee Ontario. She is self-taught and still learning in aspects of Truth and Reconciliation, an on-going journey.

Waterloo Pharmacy student co-op work term eye-opening experience. Blair McCullough (Rx2024) was attracted to the Waterloo School of Pharmacy program because of its innovative co-op program and in particular the opportunity to work with Indigenous Peoples.

Lauren Dayes (Rx2022) spent her final days as a Waterloo Pharmacy student completing her patient care rotations in Mindemoya on Manitoulin Island.

While placed in Mindemoya for six months, she worked with a family health team, the community’s local hospital and a community pharmacy.
