CPhA Centennial Leadership Award

Award

The Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) offers a prestigious award to one third year student from each Pharmacy program across the country. Recipients will participate in an in-person program or a virtual program. Recipients will also have an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and meet other students and pharmacy leaders from across Canada.

To nominate yourself or another Rx2025 CPhA student member for this high-profile award, please submit a summary of your (or their) achievements that address the above selection criteria (max. 4 pages).

Nominations must be submitted to Mary Stanley, chair Awards Committee mstanley@uwaterloo.ca. The 2024 nomination period is now closed.

Eligibility & Selection

  • Student actively promotes the School and the profession (e.g. leadership roles such as those on SOPhS Council, representation on provincial/national associations or university committees; participation in extracurricular activities; involvement in projects that promote the role of the pharmacist; serving as an ambassador for the School and the profession)
  • Student is in good academic standing
  • Student is a CPhA student associate (you must belong to CAPSI or OPA)
