Biography

Anthony Amadio is a 2011 University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy graduate and currently the inpatient Pharmacy Manager at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener. Upon graduation he completed a one year hospital residency at Mount Sinai in Toronto, Ontario before moving to Vancouver, BC to begin the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at the University of British Columbia. After graduating from UBC in 2014, Anthony moved to Kelowna where he practiced as the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Critical Care. He then took on the Clinical Practice and Professional Practice Leader roles at Kelowna General Hospital before moving back to Waterloo and to his current role at Grand River Hospital. Anthony previously held a Clinical Instructor position in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UBC and is now an adjunct faculty member with the UW School of Pharmacy.

Anthony has been previously involved as a guest lecturer for PHARM 655 and PHARM 652. He was also a course coordinator for PHARM 252, PHARM 352 and PHARM 377.
