Biography

Allison Tario is an alumnus of the School of Pharmacy, completing both her BSc Pharmacy (Rx2014) and her PharmD (2018, bridging program) at the University of Waterloo. She is an active community pharmacist, practicing at an independent pharmacy in Norfolk County, a rural area in southwestern Ontario. In this role she specializes in compounding, long-term care clinical services and community outreach.

Allison has been involved with the undergraduate program at the School since 2016, teaching in a variety of professional practice labs and coordinating the fourth-year Symposium course. She is also the Director of the Women in Pharmacy Leadership Program and is passionate about recognizing and supporting women in the profession of pharmacy.
