Biography

Claude is a member of the School of Pharmacy’s original Vanguard Class and the student societies’ inaugural President. Following graduation Claude joined Health Sciences North specializing in infectious diseases, critical care and medicine while maintaining a presence in community pharmacy.

At Health Sciences North he developed an advanced practice role alongside intensivists in the intensive care unit and was pharmacy lead in the creation of the country’s first Virtual Critical Care program, winner of the of the 2015 Minister’s Medal Honouring Excellence in Health Quality and Safety. His interests in research and antimicrobials converged during Sciences North’s participation in the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) in Intensive Care Units ARTIC Project. While having previously completed a four year degree in Biomedical Sciences at Laurentian University, Claude completed Waterloo’s PharmD bridging program in 2017 and has recently accepted a new position within the hospital’s integrated pain and HAVEN programs.

As Regional Clinical Coordinator Claude looks forward to working with regional preceptors to offer students’ unique and exciting practice experiences that will shape their development as tomorrow’s pharmaceutical care practitioners.
