We are pleased to offer Community Service Learning (CSL) credit for students who volunteer at COVID vaccination clinics. CSL is an opportunity to work with and learn more about people who are vulnerable to poorer health outcomes due to social and economic conditions. Volunteering at these clinics presents an opportunity to be of service to our community while also learning about the disproportionate impact of the pandemic on vulnerable populations.
Eligibility: Students in Rx2022 & Rx2023 cohorts who have completed preparation workshops are eligible for this CSL opportunity.
Before volunteering, students must:
- identify a goal for service and submit it as a learning statement on Charity Republic;
- identify and report a contact person for verification
-

- You may complete all 20 hours of service at these clinics provided this work gives you enough experience to complete the application assignment. Read it in advance.
-
Direct
Service
Hours:
- Volunteer work at the clinics counts as direct service work. This may be important if you are combining this service with indirect service at another organization.
We look forward to reading about your experiences at the COVID vaccination clinics!
