Join Dr. Shamrozé Khan and Dr. Tammy Labreche, experts from the University of Waterloo’s School of Optometry and Vision Science, for an informative and engaging session on Keep Life in Focus: Understanding Vision and Aging. Learn practical ways to maintain visual independence, manage age-related changes, and continue living life with clarity and confidence.

Our speakers:

Dr. Shamrozé Khan is an associate clinical professor in the School of Optometry & Vision Science with special interest in low vision rehabilitation — the spectrum of care which follows permanent vision loss. Her work centres on the lived experience of vision loss, as well as providing education to better serve those living through vision loss. Additional information about Dr. Khan can be found here

Dr. Tammy Labreche is an Associate Clinical Professor and the Director of the George & Judy Woo Centre for Sight Enhancement at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science. Her clinical expertise and scholarship interests address areas of empowered and independent aging: access to low vision rehabilitation, visual fitness for driving, post-stroke evaluation and rehabilitation, and medication management with visual impairment.
