Let's Get Active - Kolb Park Walk

There appears to be an interest in one more hike before the summer heat begins.  Let's walk the Kolb Park section of the Walter Bean Trail that follows part of the winding route of the Grand River.

The Kolb Park walk takes us through a low wetland and onto a forest trail overlooking the river. We'll hike one hour and turn around when we reach the Bingeman's Park campground. The trail is well maintained, mostly flat with only a couple of small hills. It's a nice walk.

We will walk at a modest pace with occasional rest stops to check out the views.

Please wear sturdy footwear and bring poles if you need help with balance.

We'll still hike in light rain, so bring a rain jacket or umbrella if rain is in the forecast. Check the event site before heading out in case there are any changes.
