UWRA Skating Outing

Let's get active! UWRA Skating Outing.

Hey UWRA folks – let’s go skating!!  Join Howard Armitage for an hour of skating enjoyment at RIM Park.  All are welcome!

Date: Wednesday January 22 from 11 -11:50am.
Meet time: 10:45am 
Location: RIM Park - Rink 1 Pillars Ice Haus rink

Price: The price is modest - $4.81 for an hour of skating.  You can pay when you arrive at RIM or register in advance with the City of Waterloo.

Here’s a few more details:

• If you have your own skates – great. If not, you can rent skates from the Eastside Branch of the Waterloo Public Library.  The Eastside Branch is close to the rinks at RIM Park and offers both figure and hockey skates
• We can change into our skates in the seating area outside the rink or rinkside on the benches inside.  
• Following the skate, for those interested, we can share a coffee or light lunch at the RIM cafeteria.       

Looking forward to an enjoyable outing with skaters of all backgrounds and abilities.
