Harnessing Robotics and AI for Climate Solutions

RoboHub and ESG Partners Inc. are excited to announce their participation in the inaugural Canada Climate Week Xchange (CCWX). As part of this national initiative, RoboHub and ESG Partners will host Harnessing Robotics & AI For Climate Solutions, which aims to explore how robotics and AI can be applied to climate solutions, and how a climate lens can be applied to existing robotics work in areas like healthcare to respond to climate threats.

Harnessing Robotics & AI For Climate Solutions is taking place during CCWX 2025, which runs from November 24 to November 30th.

Real Life Robotics, a pioneering robotics and automation company at Velocity, University of Waterloo’s startup incubator, today announces a first-of-its-kind robot-powered delivery partnership with Skip, Canada’s homegrown delivery network. 

Through an initial three-month deployment in Markham, Ont., the initiative will pave the way for enhanced innovation within the Canadian delivery ecosystem with the potential to expand across additional Canadian cities.

Today, CENGN announced a Living Lab partnership with the University of Waterloo and Rogers Communications to advance Canadian innovation.  Through the partnership, the CENGN Living Lab Initiative will now include co-funded access to the Robotic Connectivity Living Lab, powered by the University of Waterloo’s RoboHub and Rogers. The Living Lab will enable Canadian startups and scaleups to test and validate their cutting-edge products and services in critical sectors like defence, robotics, and applied artificial intelligence, accelerating their path to market readiness.

Join Us at the Waterloo RoboHub Fall Symposium

Join us on campus on November 12th for our next symposium: an interdisciplinary event where thought leaders from across the private and public sectors will come together to discuss and learn about both current and future applications of robotics and related technologies in the field of health and wellbeing.

The day will include talks and panels from experts in diverse fields with critical insights into the combination of health and robotics, as well as exhibitors and lightning talks from across the robotics community.
