Student wins $15,000 to take innovative mining solution to next phase

We are pleased to announce that Professor Olaf Weber a researcher in the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development, has accepted the position of Associate Director, Research, at the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE), for a one-year term effective January 1, 2015.

Water, water everywhere - or is it? A second-year Environment and Business student is turning her passion into action by installing water meters on campus in an effort to reduce water consumption.
