Olaf Weber appointed Associate Director, Research for WISE

We are pleased to announce that Professor Olaf Weber a researcher in the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development, has accepted the position of Associate Director, Research, at the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE), for a one-year term effective January 1, 2015.

This position further enhances the University of Waterloo's commitment to be a leader in energy research. WISE comprises members from the Faculties of Environment, Engineering, Science, Math and Arts, who are involved in a broad range of research activities that intersect energy policy, environment and technology innovation.

Working with the Executive Director, the Board of Management, and the Faculty, Weber will help shape and guide the research initiatives of the Institute and play a critical role in fostering ties with external agencies and institutions.
