Dear SAF alumni,
I hope everyone has had a great start to 2023 – it is hard to believe that it is already April!
This term we continue to see more and more opportunities for our students, staff, faculty and alumni to connect in person. At the end of March, we were so excited to celebrate the graduating class with our Grad Class Send-Off. And as I look towards the next couple of months, we have lots of events to look forward to – you can find a few of them linked below to register!
Our AFM 334: International Study Course will be heading to Singapore in May and we are so grateful for all of the support and excitement we have seen from our alumni in anticipation of this trip. This will be a fantastic learning opportunity for our students, and be sure to follow along on our social media channels to see photos and videos from these students once the trip gets started.
I would be delighted to have the opportunity to speak with you, to learn about what you have been doing since graduation and discuss how you may stay connected to the School of Accounting and Finance. 2023 FCPA Designation: The Highest Honour a Profession Can Bestow
Congratulations to Ling Chu (MTax ’99) for receiving the Fellow designation, the highest designation the CPA offers. The FCPA is granted to members who have rendered exceptional service to the profession or whose achievements in their careers, the community, or in the profession have earned them distinction and brought honour to the profession.
