At SAF we believe in learning through experience as much as possible. Between participating in competitions, managing investment portfolios, travelling the world, and learning from peer mentors, there is so much to do beyond the classroom!
Competitions
SAF students participate in competitions like the CFA Institute Research Challenge each year, and have taken home numerous championships at the local, provincial, and national level.
The Student Investment Fund and Student Venture Fund
The Student Investment Fund and Student Venture Fund are portfolios managed by students, giving you the chance to apply your knowledge in real time.
International Study Course
Students taking the International Study Course travel to business centres across the globe, meeting and learning directly from executives in international organizations.
Fellowship Program and Academia Mentorship Program
The Fellowship Program connects SAF students with alumni, building network through a four-year relationship.
Through the Academia Mentorship Program, students interested in a PhD can connect with a mentor and attend tailored research workshops.
