My tips for completing the SAF Admissions Assessment (SAFAA)

The SAFAA is a great opportunity for the School to get to know you a little better. Take this opportunity to be the main character and choose an experience that maximizes your ability to tell a story. The way I tackled this was with a three-step process in my planning stage:

  1. What is one key takeaway you want to focus on to answer the question?
  2. Find a life experience that portrays the key takeaway without explicitly stating it. 
  3. Guide your interviewer through your experience by providing sensory details and answering how and why questions.

Remember to stay true to yourself and don’t be scared to show some personality! This is your chance to show character development and your potential for exponential growth.

My final piece of advice is to visualize your success and manifest it. Get familiar with the platform, take advantage of the practice runs, and see yourself completing the SAFAA with confidence. 

Be sure to apply before February 1 and submit the SAFAA by February 17. You got this! I look forward to seeing you on campus in the fall.
