It is that easy!

Applying for university can be a very simple task if you know how to do it. After further research, I figured out how easy it actually is to apply. Once I receive my Student PIN from my high school guidance counsellor at the end of October/early November, I can apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC). I then have to pick whether I am an undergraduate student or a graduate student and whether I am from Ontario, out of province, or international. I complete the online form by filling out which entry programs I am applying for and if my program requires it, I will apply for co-op as well. The OUAC application allows me to select up to three different entry programs and the programs do not need to be from the same university. The OUAC facilitates university applications for all Ontario universities, so if I wanted to apply to universities outside of Ontario, like UBC or McGill, I will need to make separate applications directly to those universities. Check out the University of Waterloo’s website to get step-by-step information on how to apply for university programs.
