Grace Zhou

The School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) recently caught up with Grace Zhou (MAcc ‘18) to chat about her career post-graduation and to gain insight into the exciting opportunities that SAF co-op terms can provide to enrich students’ professional experiences.

As a student, Grace was employed for four work terms in four unique industries. In her diverse roles, she was able to build on the foundation she established in the Accounting and Financial Management (AFM) program offered by SAF and apply the technical skills she has learned to discover the broad range of career opportunities available for an SAF graduate. Grace’s co-op journey led to her current role as a Business Advisor at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).

For future SAF students, Grace shared a helpful piece of advice: “be in tune with yourself, know you do not need to follow other people’s paths but instead, forge your own path.”
