How GBDA students are preparing for a changing world of work

During their co-op terms, Global Business and Digital Arts (GBDA) students Jasmine Hu and Alita Thomas went up against a challenge every workplace is facing, with that being how to use AI tools responsibly. With frameworks from PD14: Responsible Digital Innovation in the Workplace, both moved past experimentation, bringing structure and accountability to AI use in their teams.

Designing Meaningful Experiences: Bernice Ma’s (MDEI '18) Path to Entrepreneurship

Bernice Ma's (MDEI '18) path to becoming a business owner wasn’t originally what she had planned. After completing her undergraduate degree, she discovered an interest in web and digital design during her co-op terms. This led her to the Master of Digital Experience Innovation (MDEI) program, where she set out to build a career in digital design and user experience. When she did not immediately find herself in the role she had envisioned at first, she created that opportunity for herself.
