What is GBDA?

Hone the creative, technical, and business skills you need to thrive in a fast-evolving world with a degree in Global Business and Digital Arts (GBDA) – a program with global perspectives and collaborative and entrepreneurial possibilities in mind.

Taught from the Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business, the GBDA program is an exclusive community of diverse thinkers with one shared goal: disruptive creativity and innovation.

We encourage our students to embrace their varied interests, explore what they are passionate about, and take an interdisciplinary approach to hands-on, project-based learning to help them build a rewarding and successful career.

“We are unique, creative thinkers with many diverse interdisciplinary skills. This makes us a great asset in most businesses and the creative arts field.”

Keyrane Kouame, 3rd-Year GBDA Student

Why GBDA?

The first of its kind, the GBDA program combines business, technology and design into one degree – offering our students a unique opportunity to expand their knowledge across 3 in-demand sectors.

A highly specialized degree, the GBDA program teaches students how technology, design and business overlap. Throughout their four years in the program, our students will learn the skills and technique of impactful digital design by utilizing modern technology to solve complex business problems and grow global businesses.

They will then be able to apply this knowledge to professional settings throughout 4 work terms, and a culminating 4th year major project where they will work alongside an industry mentor in the classroom!
