Research Interests

My research interests sit at the intersection of late medieval literature/culture and the digital humanities, and I have published extensively in the areas of the interaction between text and iconography in medieval manuscripts, scientific discourse in literature, and Digital Humanities. As director and a researcher of the MARGOT project, I lead several international collaborative projects in the area of Digital Humanities, such as the development of image annotation software and the creation of enriched databases of medieval manuscripts.
