OSAP service disruption

The OSAP application system will be unavailable from Sunday, March 26 to Wednesday, March 29 while the ministry prepares the 2017-18 application.

As a result, all processing and OSAP inquires through Student Awards & Financial Aid will be impacted.

Normal service is scheduled to resume on March 29. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Also available online are the Student and Income Tax Publication and information on scholarship exemptions.

1. Complete a Spring Extension Form (PDF)

Applicable if you have already applied for fall 2016 and/or winter 2017 OSAP and your confirmation of enrolment has been completed.

2. Complete an OSAP online application

Applicable if you have not applied for fall 2016 and/or winter 2017 OSAP.

Determine your course load percentage for OSAP

Use this chart to determine your course load percentage for your OSAP application:

  • 2.25 units or more = 100%
  • 2.0 units = 80%
  • 1.75 units = 70%
  • 1.5 units = 60%
  • 1.25 units = 50%
  • 1.0 units = 40%
  • 0.5 units = 20%
