Shift: Neutral Town Hall

Tuesday, November 10, 2020 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm EST (GMT -05:00)

Waterloo is excited to formally launch Shift: Neutral, a roadmap for the campus to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

As the world continues to experience the escalating impacts of a changing climate, governments, industry, and institutions are strengthening efforts to reduce emissions and pivot to a sustainable, low-carbon future. Shift: Neutral builds on Waterloo's longstanding excellence in climate-related teaching, research, and knowledge mobilization by offering a plan of action to minimize the carbon footprint of University operations.

The virtual town hall will provide a brief overview of key elements of Waterloo's climate action plan and offers opportunity for questions and answers from participants. It will be hosted on Microsoft Teams Live Events.

All members of the campus community are welcome and encouraged to attend.

For more information on frequently asked questions, please see the Climate and Energy Action Plan FAQs.
