Join the Sustainability Office for one of three tree planting events to support biodiversity on campus.
Students and employees are invited to help with prepping the site and planting a variety of trees and shrubs, while learning more about the importance of supporting biodiversity and nature on campus and in our community.
Interested volunteers can choose from the following dates:
- Thursday, May 2 (1-3pm) - Main campus
- Wednesday, May 8 (12-2pm) - Main campus
- Thursday, May 9 (12-2pm) - North campus
Gloves, tools and light refreshments will be provided - no experience necessary! This is a great opportunity to get outside, contribute to campus naturalization efforts, and explore some of the beautiful green spaces Waterloo has to offer!
