Sustainability-Themed Assessment Showcase

Are you interested in incorporating sustainability into your courses but not sure where to start? Join the Centre for Teaching Excellence for the Sustainability-Themed Assessment Showcase. This 1-hour webinar will explore approaches to incorporate sustainability into assessments using examples from University of Waterloo instructors across disciplines.  

  • Dr. Andrew McMurry (Arts) will share how fourth year students explored unsustainability through key literary writings and developed their own "environed agency". 
  • Dr. Steffanie Scott (Environment) will share the Regional Food Strategy Project, where fourth year students will engage in research and direct consultations with local stakeholders.    
  • Dr. Nadine Ibrahim (Engineering) will share the open eBooks project that was co-written by second year students and students' reflections on the Sustainable Development Goals
