Learn more about programs and resources that are supporting our journey to become a zero-waste campus, including the first official Free Store pop-up. Plus, the first 150 people to bring a reusable mug will get FREE COFFEE.

Do you have personal items in need of repair? 4RepairKW is hosting weekly drop-in sessions this winter term on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 4-6 pm. 

Did you know that waste contributes to climate change? The decomposition of organics, packaging and other garbage in landfills produces a significant amount of methane, which is a greenhouse gas 28 times for potent than carbon dioxide. Additionally, non-organic material and the production of resources is a significant source of emissions which end up as waste.

Would you like to learn more about how we're managing our waste at the University of Waterloo? The University has committed to becoming a zero waste campus by 2035, and has undertaken some big changes to support waste management efforts for the campus community.
