Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS)/Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science & Technology (QEII-GSST) - Intent to Apply

Current and prospective Waterloo students should use this form to:

  • Declare an intent to apply for the OGS/QEII-GSST competition; and  
  • Request an official Waterloo transcript from Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA), if applicable

The submission deadline for this form is Thursday, January 14, 2027 at 4:00 p.m. (ET).

Students who are applying for OGS/QEII-GSST through the University of Waterloo and who require an official Waterloo transcript may obtain an official electronic copy of their Waterloo transcript at no charge by completing this form. This service is intended only for applicants who will submit their OGS/QEII-GSST application through the University of Waterloo. Please note the following process:

  • Within 7 business days after the January 14 form deadline and no later than Monday, January 25, 2027 applicants who request a Waterloo transcript through this form will receive an email with instructions for accessing their transcript through the MyCreds Learner portal.
    • Once the applicant logs in, using the link in the email, they will see a “share credit” on their account which can be used to obtain an official electronic copy of their Waterloo transcript. Applicants should not order and pay for a Waterloo transcript through The Centre if they wish to use this service.
    • Applicants must follow the instructions for “I just want to download a PDF for myself. Can I do that?” Applicants will be sharing the link with themselves, so they must ensure they enter their email address correctly; it is recommended to NOT enter an expiry date on the link in MyCreds. 
  • NOTE: A hold or negative service indicator on your student account will prevent you from receiving an official transcript. Please ensure you clear up any outstanding fines or fees before requesting your transcript.

All applicants may still apply for OGS/QEII-GSST if they miss the January 14 Intent to Apply deadline. However, applicants who require a Waterloo transcript will be responsible for obtaining one through The Centre at their own expense.

If you require changes to be made to this form after submission, please email gspa-awards@uwaterloo.ca. Please do not submit multiple requests.

Do you require an official Waterloo transcript for your OGS/QEII-GSST application?

Select “Yes” if you are a current Waterloo student or alumni. Students who will be registered in the first term of their program at Waterloo in fall 2026 or winter 2027 should request a Waterloo transcript to show enrolment.

Select "No" if you are a prospective Waterloo student who has never been enrolled at Waterloo.
