Complete an Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) web application
Completing a new full-time or part-time 2026-27 OSAP application on the OSAP website is required each academic year. There is no fall extension because it is a new academic year, and a new online application is needed. Watch the OSAP: Your guide through the application process video for tips and tricks. If you are applying for OSAP, you do not need to apply for Continuation of Interest free status (CIFS) – you just submit one or the other.
Deadlines & Promissory Note
OSAP Application and documentation deadlines are posted on the OSAP deadlines and important dates page. Fall OSAP amounts will be posted to student Quest accounts under Anticipated Aid on an ongoing basis starting in late July. Keep checking Quest to see if it’s been loaded, then you will be able to complete your Promissory Note.
Final application deadline to submit a full-time OSAP application for fall 2026 term only funding is Oct 23, 2026.
