When will I receive my fall 2024 OSAP funding?
Student Awards & Financial Aid will confirm your enrolment on your OSAP account and release your funding. We start this process one week before classes begin and you could have your OSAP funding applied to your student account and/or receive funding as early as the first few weeks of September. This process will continue regularly throughout the term.
What can I do to make sure I get my funding at the start of the term?
- Upload all OSAP required documentation. Due to the large volume of new applications, allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
- Complete a Promissory Note (if you haven't paid your fees in full) to let Student Financial Services know you'll be using your OSAP to pay your fees. You will need to provide proof of payment/funding for any amount not covered by OSAP when completing the Promissory Note. We will be adding fall 2024 OSAP funding as anticipated aid to Quest throughout the Promissory Note period.
- Make sure your course load matches. If your course load in Quest is different than the course load on your OSAP application, we won't confirm your enrolment until it matches or until after the fall drop/add period. You can submit the OSAP Application Update Form if you need to make a change to your OSAP application.
Your OSAP funding will be redirected to the University to pay any fees owing. We recommend monitoring your account summary in Quest and arrange payment of any additional balance owing even after OSAP has issued.
