How do I self-declare an absence (graduate students)?

For graduate students only. Undergraduate students, visit your self-declared absences instructions.

  1. Sign in to Quest.
  2. Select the Personal Information tile.

  3. Select the Student Absence Declaration link on the left.

  4. On the Student Absence Declaration page, select the Next button.

  5. Read the COVID-19-related absence details on the page and select Add New Absence to see the form.
  6. For Absence Category, select COVID-19-related absence.

  7. Select the Start Date and Return to Study Date for the absence.
  8. Select the Submit button at the bottom of the page.
  9. You will see a confirmation message upon submission, as well as receive a confirmation email to your campus email account.
