Verifying a completed degree
If you are an employer or third-party (government agency, screening company, education verification service) and you need to confirm a graduate's education or degree completion, please submit your request through Aura Data.
AuraData is a Canadian company specializing in secure online education verification. This partnership streamlines the process employers or academic institutions use to verify completed academic credentials.

A signed authorization from the graduate is required by AuraData before any information is released.
Verifying enrolment for a current or former student
Complete the Third-Party Verification Form to verify enrolment for a current or former student who has not yet received a degree from the University of Waterloo.
A signed authorization from the student is required before any information is released.
Verification requests will be processed within 2-5 business days.

Third-party forms (no cost):
Students can submit a third-party form that requires a signature and/or University seal to verify enrolment (e.g., third-party scholarship verification). Complete your sections and then email your form to askthecentre@uwaterloo.ca, along with where you would like the document(s) to be sent to.
For RESP proof of enrolment please use the self-serve proof of enrolment option in lieu of getting a form signed by our office.
