The change of seasons often also brings an influenza outbreak. Although influenza activity generally peaks around January, it takes the body about two weeks after vaccination to develop antibodies that will protect against influenza virus infection. For that reason, it's important to get vaccinated before the seasonal outbreak.
Students, staff, faculty, and community members are invited to get their influenza vaccination through Health Services. The Health Services flu vaccination clinic will be at the School of Pharmacy on October 21 between 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
