Vocal Coaching - Feminizing sessions

The Vocal Coaching Group (feminizing sessions) is for any Trans, Non-Binary or gender-diverse University of Waterloo students wishing to develop a more feminine voice. Over the three sessions you attend, the Vocal Coaching Group facilitator will provide vocal coaching in a comfortable and safe space.

Facilitator

Heather Hill (she/her) - Heather acquired her BFA from the University of Regina, where she studied Theatre Performance. She then pursued her Masters in voice at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, UK. Since graduating, Heather has worked at the University of Waterloo and Fanshawe College. She has worked as a voice/dialect coach at many different theatres in Ontario, including five years at the Stratford Festival of Canada and coached several productions at the National Arts Centre (NAC). She has worked on television and films such as The Republic of Doyle, The Grand Seduction and Son of a Critch. She's also been a collaborating coach on The Broadway and Toronto and touring production of Come From Away.

Who can join?

Any Trans, Non-Binary or gender-diverse University of Waterloo (undergraduate and graduate) students can participate.

When and how do we meet?

All sessions are held in-person, on Mondays, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Details for sessions will be provided upon registration.
