Counselling Services locations will be closed on Tuesday, January 28. Counselling offices will reopen on Wednesday, January 29. Health Services remains open.

Latest Update - Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

Campus Wellness will continue to closely monitor the situation and will provide more information as soon as it becomes available.  

We will continue to take extra precautions to monitor for the virus and have special protocols in place here at Health Services.

Important Update - Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

In January 2020, a new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) was identified as the cause of an outbreak of pneumonia originating in Wuhan, China. The situation is rapidly evolving and UWaterloo Health Services, Region of Waterloo Public Health and Emergency Services, Public Health Ontario, along with the Ministry of Health, is closely monitoring the outbreak, conducting surveillance and appropriate laboratory testing, and providing public health and infection control guidance. There are no direct flights from Wuhan, China to international airports in Ontario.

Important Update – LifeLabs Revel Data Breach

LifeLabs has disclosed that it has recently suffered a cyberattack that might compromise the personal information of over 15 million customers, with the majority of those being from B.C. and Ontario.

According to the announcement: the cyberattack “involved unauthorized access to our computer systems with customer information that could include name, address, email, login, passwords, date of birth, health card number and lab test results.
