Waterloo Athletics

Being physically active can stimulate both our physical and mental health. Our students can access excellent options for physical fitness through Waterloo Athletics department, which includes many facilities like the Physical Activities Complex (PAC), Columbia Icefields (CIF) fitness complex, the PAC pool, CIF arena, and the Warrior Zone.

Shoe tag fitness classes

Shoe Tag classes are a great way to get active, stay motivated and meet new people. There is a class for everyone with many options including cycling, yoga, pilates, zumba and more.

Several intramurals teams are available, including ultimate frisbee, ball hockey, volleyball, soccer, dodgeball, and more.

Warrior Recreation provides numerous opportunities to get involved with a variety of clubs. Each club offers a unique experience for participants; skill levels can run from beginner to expert in almost every club.
Most clubs have a try-it session at the beginning of the term, where students can attend a practice and decide if they would like to continue with the club. Joining a club is a great way to meet people, develop new skills, melt away stress, and stay physically active.
Several clubs are available, including archery, ballroom and latin dance, curling, dragon boat, juggling, karate, quidditch, tennis and many more.
