HIR-01: Adapting Immersive Games for Kids' Health

Brief description of the organization

Hiro makes interactive physical activity games for kids with different disabilities. Our games help them stay active and healthy, or stay on top of their required physiotherapy plan.

Problem area

We are designing interactive physical activity games for kids with disabilities. However, each disability is unique. Even kids who have the same diagnosis might present a wide spectrum of accessibility needs, and requirements for physical activity.

Main objectives

Come up with a workflow for using our games for kids with different disabilities, and how to adapt our games for each different type of objective that a practitioner or parent may want to achieve.

Scope of work

Conduct literature review, environmental scan, conduct user interviews, and design workflow including questionnaires, on-boarding, assessment tools, and regular objective-based checkpoints.
