Thesis defence

You are welcome to join the department as Sima Lashkari defends her Ph.D. thesis, which explores a newly discovered approach which utilizes non-ionic surfactants to deliver non-surface active, hydrophobic ILs to the surface of dispersed graphene oxide (GO) and rGO. When these IL decorated sheets are cast as electrodes, the adsorbed layer is expected to define the electrolyte-filled pore space, potentially maximizing the electrode capacitance.

You are invited to attend Mina Rafieishishavan's PhD defense, where she will discuss a practical and systematic method for integrating design and control that she has applied to medium-scale and large-scale applications.

Sileola Ogunlaja will be defending their research into the effects of nanoparticle interfacial additives on phase inversion of Pickering emulsion during a closed-door PhD defense session.
