Chemical Engineering graduate students receive University Research Honours

Chemical Engineering graduate students Madjid Soltani and Navid Bizmark were both awarded the University's 2013 Outstanding Achievement in Graduate Studies honours for their graduate research. Five of these honours were awarded this year at the Doctoral level and four at the Master’s level.

Madjid Soltani's PhD thesis involves the study of drug delivery to solid tumor microvasculature through numerical modeling. His supervisor is Prof. Pu Chen.

Navid Bizmark's MASc thesis involves the study of the effects of irreversible adsorption of nanoparticles at fluid/fluid interfaces on surface tension. His supervisor is Prof. Marios Ioannidis.
