Skillful solvers of technical, logistical, organizational and communication problems, attentive caretakers of information, infrastructure and students, the Chemical Engineering technical, instructional and administrative staff are the unsung heroes of our Department.
Since the Industrial Revolution and the increase of mass production, we have seen a continuous increase in greenhouse gas emissions. Climate change, environmental pollution and the depletion of resources result from a linear economy based on using million-year-old carbon sources for products that are often used for just a few minutes.

Jeff Gostick, associate professor of Chemical Engineering, is the inaugural recipient of the Azzam-Dullien Endowed Professorship.
