The Waterloo Engineering Competition (WEC) is a day-long event where teams compete to create a design project in the category of their choosing to qualify for the Ontario Engineering Competition and a cash prize! This event is open to all engineering students of all skill sets and knowledge levels. There are many different competitions so there is something for everyone. All competitions will be held online and be able to completed from your own home. Hope to see you there!

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
