The Civil and Environmental Engineering Graduate Student Association (CE2GA) represents the graduate students in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE). The council speaks on behalf of these students at the Departmental, Faculty and University-level councils. Council members consist of executives and councillors who are elected each year by CEE graduate students. CE2GA holds a seat on the University of Waterloo Graduate Student Association (GSA) council.
Our main goals as representatives are to enhance the graduate student experience in the CEE department by:
- promoting wellness
- encouraging sustainable initiatives
- advocating for equity, diversity and inclusion
- hosting academic and industry-focused events & seminars
- to connect CEE graduate students and the greater university community.
The current CE2GA constitution, effective May 2015, can be found here: Constitution (PDF)
The CE2GA by-laws, effective May 2015, can be found here: By-Laws (PDF)
