Classical Studies is delighted to share the news that Professor Ron Kroeker is one of the 2017 Arts Faculty’s Excellence in Teaching Award Winners! Ron has taught for us for ten years, across a wide array of classes, large and small, Greek and Latin, history, literature, and religion. His CLAS 104 is the largest single-section class on campus, and every year Ron introduces hundreds of students from across the University to the delights of classical mythology. Ron’s teaching style features a patient good nature and a dry sense of humour, and he is dedicated to facilitating student success and engagement not only in the classroom but also through the classics discussion group τί ἄνθρωπος; Congratulations, Ron!
