ARC program: supervisor support form

You are receiving this request because you have been identified as a doctoral supervisor for an Academy of Research Commercialization (ARC) program applicant.

To be considered for a Norman Esch Foundation ARC Award, students require the support of their official graduate supervisor of record.

We ask you to confirm your support via this form.

Student application

I confirm that I am aware of my student’s participation in the Academy of Research Commercialization program.
Programming

I confirm that I am aware that students participate in educational sessions and are working on the commercial viability of their research. The program will culminate with a pitch event in which the commercial viability will be judged and prizes awarded.
Intellectual property

I confirm that I am aware my student may pursue the commercialization of their doctoral research as part of this program and that I understand it is entirely my responsibility to discuss and resolve any possible IP ownership issues associated with that process in advance. I understand the Conrad School will play no role in navigating IP issues and will assume students have whatever rights are required. If you require assistance navigating IP issues and related conversations, please consult with the Office of Research.
