The capstone workshop supports EDGE participants in synthesizing all of their learning. Workshop participants reflect on their journey through EDGE and determine "what's next?" as they work toward achieving their post-graduation goals. Students create a post-graduation plan of action that summarizes their next steps and acts as a checklist supporting their success. The workshop is facilitated by a career advisor from the Centre for Career Action (CCA).
Capstone workshop participants will be sent a pre-homework assignment to complete and bring to the first part of the workshop. Participants should also anticipate a short homework assignment to be completed between the first and second parts of the workshop.
This workshop is intended for students who have completed all of their other EDGE milestones, or are on track to do so this term. If you have a question or concern regarding your status with respect to this workshop, contact us at edge@uwaterloo.ca.
Students can register for the capstone workshop through WaterlooWorks under Career Centre Events.
The Spring 2019 capstone workshop will take place on Wednesday, July 10 and Friday, July 12 from 5:30-8:30 PM in TC 2218.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Indigenous Initiatives Office.
