MEng Co-op degree requirements
Course requirements
- You must successfully complete 8 graduate-level courses for credit.
- WIL 601 must be completed prior to your work term.
- A minimum of 5 courses must be taken within the ECE Department.
- A maximum of 3 courses may be taken outside the ECE Department, but must be from the Faculties of Engineering, Mathematics, or Science.
- Students pursuing the Graduate Specialization in Business Leadership may take up to 4 courses outside ECE, from the specified list of BE/BET courses.
- A minimum grade of 65% in each course and a cumulative average of 70% are required to remain in the program.
Work term requirements
- You must complete at least 1 work term and submit a work term report.
- An additional work term may be completed if it is consecutive and with the same employer. Please contact your coordinator for assistance with work term arrangements.
If you are interested in completing a Graduate Specialization, please review the required courses for each specialization before selecting your courses, as the minimum number of required courses may vary. Please note that specializations cannot be guaranteed, as they are subject to course availability.
