Join the Faculty of Environment’s Brand Refresh Committee for a behind-the-scenes look at the exciting evolution of our mission and vision!
We’re setting up in the EV3 atrium on June 16 and July 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to share the research and creative process behind our new mission and vision. Given the recent issues with EV3's cooling system being diverted to cool critical campus infrastructure, we changed the original event from Wednesday, June 25 to Tuesday, July 8.
Whether you’re a long-term supporter of this work or hearing about it for the first time, we would love to see you to discuss the progress and answer your questions. Drop in at any time; no registration is required.
What to expect:
- A guided tour of the year-long process
- Conversations with the team
- A look at where we are at in the brand refresh work and what’s next
What is the brand refresh committee?
18 individuals from across Environment’s schools and departments are spearheading the brand refresh. The committee comprises of students, faculty and staff members and meets monthly since spring 2024. Together they have conducted a competitive and audience analysis, and engaged the Environment community to develop the faculty’s new mission and vision.
Why are we conducting a brand refresh?
As outlined in Environment 2035, the Faculty is embarking on a change exercise to build resilience in the face of contextual challenges and to enable humanity to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving environments. This strategic planning work has outlined challenges and opportunities around three core areas: undergraduate programming, graduate programming and research strengths and foci. As this work progresses and the core elements of what the faculty pursues evolves, so must our brand evolve to not only reflect those changes but also communicate what differentiates us from our competition to our core audiences.
